Words are essential to our everyday life. Think about a world without words. All the movies would be silent. There would be no books magazines or internet, no conversation, and as much as Pastor Tim loves jazz, even he likes some lyrics with his music.
Because words are so very important to our global civilization, we should be careful to use them wisely and correctly. We should also learn to arrange them to express our points of view, to create artistic wonders and to tell great stories.
This semester’s goal is to ensure that each student is equipped with the tools, skills and inspiration to express themselves excellently through words. This goals requires a serious student approach to Vocabulary, Writing and Reading. It also requires students to know the rules of English Grammar and to increase their Vocabularies. |
